- For
- Garmin AMOLED watch owners using Android
- Worth noticing
- Turn alerts arrive in two stages: a heads-up buzz about 25 seconds before, then three short buzzes about 6 seconds before.
Field notes
The setup flow has users pair the phone and watch apps, then share a destination from Google Maps to Navigate with NavMap. The page says the companion adapts to driving, motorbike, bike, or walking and recalculates when a traveler takes another road. It also describes a glance-focused display that dims to an arrow and distance between turns; optional map backgrounds require the user’s own Google Cloud key.
