A browser-based tool that turns text-based bank statement PDFs into CSV or Excel files and checks their balances.

Landing page captured for the 2026-11-06 issue.
For
Bookkeepers and spreadsheet-based bank reconciliations
Worth noticing
It checks each printed running balance against the prior row and defines verification as arithmetic consistency, not proof the statement is genuine.

Field notes

The parser uses pdf.js to read the PDF text layer and rebuild rows from the positions of words on the page. It relies on dates, amounts, and column labels to identify transactions, and can join descriptions that wrap across lines. The free tier is limited to five pages; the site lists batch processing and merged exports under Pro. Scanned-image PDFs are not supported.
