PlacardSort turns inspection photos into property folders
A Windows desktop app that groups field inspection photos by GPS location, reads address placards with an AI service, and files the results into property folders.
- For
- Field inspectors sorting property photos
- Worth noticing
- Photos without GPS data are set aside for manual filing rather than silently assigned to a property.
Field notes
Users import a day's phone photos, including a ZIP, then tune how near GPS points must be to count as one property. The app uses a saved folder-naming format and creates a date folder with address subfolders; photos lacking location data are set aside for manual filing. The site says batches run locally and only each property's placard image goes to the selected AI provider. A Windows 10/11 machine and a separate provider API key are required.
