- For
- New Yorkers checking a building’s public record
- Worth noticing
- The proposed lookup groups deeds, mortgages, liens, DOB records, HPD violations, and PLUTO lot facts; the site says city updates may lag by days or weeks.
Field notes
The planned building pages are organized around five record groups: ownership and money, building-department activity, housing conditions, lot facts, and compliance or rent information. The site says ACRIS entries will link to official document images and that each page will show when its records were checked. It cautions that the city’s publishing schedule can delay new filings by days or weeks; the homepage currently says launch is pending.
