Goalie Analysis
A browser-based hockey-goalie video workbench for marking rink references, measuring positioning, and annotating plays.
- For
- Hockey goalie coaches reviewing game video
- Worth noticing
- Its simulation says a distant shooter-line estimate errs 13° on average, versus 3° when drawn at the goalie.
Field notes
Operators can load video or a still, choose rink and crease dimensions, mark visible ice references, then step through frames and record plays. The interface includes drawing, voice-over, play lists, CSV and text-copy exports, and browser-local storage; it also offers account saving. Its explanation separates puck-line centering from squareness and gives simulation error figures for different reference placements, making the measurement assumptions unusually inspectable.
