- For
- Mac users who want a playful desktop companion
- Worth noticing
- The page estimates about 37 MB of memory use and says drawing slows after AJ stops moving.
Field notes
The app lives in the Mac menu bar, where its controls include bringing AJ out, putting him away, and checking for updates. The maker says Accessibility access enables Trash and window interactions; browser-audio access is used locally for a few seconds at a time to distinguish music from speech, and the page says no audio is recorded or sent.
