Field notes
The founders say they built the project after manually comparing labels for Uyu, their Maltese, whose allergy test listed nearly thirty ingredients. The site calls out naming ambiguity on labels, including cases where a term may not identify the animal source. It says results use three levels with explanations, and that partnerships or advertising do not determine result ordering.
