A rule-driven microgame in which you break falling ice spikes only while they pass through a band of light.
Why it surfacedRimefall gives its tiny game world a full register, standing orders, quota, watch history, wards, and endpapers. Its central rule is wonderfully specific: every blow targets the lowest spike, and striking solid ice breaks the chain and leaves your hand cold for a third of a second.
