Why it surfaced

Driades turns a map into a shared room: a URL puts everyone at the same coordinates, while PMTiles, GeoTIFF, GeoParquet, GeoJSON, and Zarr data can be loaded directly from desktop or cloud storage. Its most unusual feature is the support for scripted and AI “dryads” that join the map as peers, complete with their own cursors and actions.
