rPGP puts OpenPGP certificates in a window
An open-source Linux and macOS certificate manager for generating, importing, exporting, signing, encrypting, decrypting, and verifying without the command line.
Why it surfacedrPGP makes unusually specific technical choices: Rust, Slint, and Sequoia, with no webview, Qt, C++, or gpg subprocess. Its trust view separates certificate validity from identity authentication, while smartcard PINs remain with the user’s own gpg-agent; there are no release binaries yet, making this a promising project to watch.
