An open VR locomotion hardware project that turns two foot-mounted sensors into a SteamVR controller.

Why it surfaced

Vizir Colibri maps a signal chain from M5Stick S3 sensors through firmware, UDP processing, calibration, a SteamVR driver, and eventually Unreal Engine. The one-person lab publishes which of seven modules are complete, which are still being debugged, and a target release of January 2027.

Ice Does Not Count

August 12’s newborn domains include a rule-bound archive of enormous sodas, 27 family stories cut from one afternoon, a disaster-supply map with a 24-hour freshness rule, and an ocean bell that rings only when six conditions agree.

This is one of 1,000 discoveries in the 2026-08-12 Domain Arrivals issue.
