An anonymous service for sending encrypted notes and files that disappear after they are read or their timer expires.

Why it surfaced

Whisper offers a notably concrete privacy model: server-encrypted notes discard plaintext immediately, while client-encrypted notes keep the key entirely away from the server. Its open API works with plain curl, supports passwords, view limits, expiry timers, and IP restrictions, and links to both frontend and backend source repositories.
