MetaDrop handles folders and batches while keeping source files on the user’s machine. Its unusually explicit format contract says when it can safely rewrite JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF files—and when it will leave TIFF, AVIF, HEIC, or RAW files inspect-only.
