A freely downloadable, carefully typeset edition of R. H. Charles's 1917 translation of 1 Enoch, covering all five books and 108 chapters.

Why it surfaced

This edition preserves Charles's brackets and daggers rather than smoothing away the places where the Greek and Ethiopic traditions disagree or the text cannot be recovered. Its hand-drawn marks, EB Garamond and Cinzel setting, and explicit public-domain provenance make it feel like a real act of editorial care rather than another anonymous PDF.

The Two-Tonne Temperature Problem

August 15’s newborn domains include a live-aboard hydrogen airship with a two-tonne lift problem, a Japanese toolbox that explains its assumptions, an advisory-by-advisory Hawaiʻi hurricane archive, and a wedding-gift game about ungrateful poultry.

This is one of 1,000 discoveries in the 2026-08-15 Domain Arrivals issue.
