A Vietnamese meal-tracking app that analyzes food photos and reports calorie estimates as ranges rather than invented precision.

Why it surfaced

Calofun builds its argument around a simple honesty test: nobody weighed your bowl of phở, so the app reports 450–570 kcal instead of pretending it knows 505 exactly. Its hand-built catalog covers 94 Vietnamese dishes and 66 ingredients, while the site says analyzed photos are deleted afterward; the app is free and not yet on the App Store.
