Why it surfaced

s3nda says 1,300 of Buenos Aires’ 1,588 mapped cycling segments are invisible to common route planners because they are recorded as street attributes. Its Flores-to-Once example trades 2.12 extra kilometers and eight minutes for a route that is 84.2% bike lane instead of 9.6%.
