Writ is a developer protocol for letting verified software agents transact with APIs through signed mandates, scoped authority, and one-call verification.

Why it surfaced

Its central idea is unusually concrete: a human issues an expiring, revocable mandate, an agent signs each request, and the API can allow or deny it while resolving the accountable person behind the agent. The included command-line demo shows a treasury bot being approved for a $500 refill, rejected at $2,000, and approved again at $900 under a per-transaction and weekly cap.

The 240-Material Organ

August 16’s newborn domains include a 240-material perfume organ, a repeatedly saved JPEG cat, a ski tracker designed by a 15-year-old, and a searchable page claiming to contain 148,303 prescription records.
