A U.S.-only lookup tool that shows how common a first name or last name is using 2020 Census counts and ranks.

Why it surfaced

The tool searches 156,621 last names and 53,615 first names, then pairs Census frequency with Social Security birth-year data. Its unusually candid explanation of withheld rare names, approximate counts, and the impossibility of measuring full-name combinations makes the limitations part of the product.
