Klink lets Python programs, MCP clients, and AI agents control a running KLayout session for geometry-first layout automation.

Why it surfaced

This open-source alpha project exposes more than 150 tools across 13 domains, including routing, DRC, LVS, cross-window editing, recording, and process visualization. Its central promise is unusually concrete: agents manipulate and verify real geometry through KLayout rather than judging screenshots.
