A one-person Bangalore software studio building focused mobile, web, and applied-AI products for specific real-world situations.

Why it surfaced

Alakoda’s portfolio is unusually candid about what its products are for and how far along they are: a prayer app that forgives a missed day, a chord-sheet tool that gives each band member the right chart, and a founder-search tool for finding someone who messaged you long ago. Its governing principle—“Start with one person, not one market”—makes this a thoughtful small-studio manifesto as well as a work showcase.

The Song Resumes After the Story

August 19’s newborn domains include a Hawaiʻi road-trip radio that resumes each song after a GPS-triggered story, an offline Chattanooga recovery map, a 100 KiB operating system running Doom, and an archive of 169,588 Discord roleplay messages.

This is one of 1,000 discoveries in the 2026-08-19 Domain Arrivals issue.
