A Cut-Off Clock for Backyard Ultras
Backyard Ultra Live is a single-screen race dashboard for last-runner-standing races, tracking lap timing, buffer, pace, elevation, alerts, and crew viewing.
Why it surfacedIts central idea is unusually clear: two bars share one scale, so the gap between the cut-off clock and the runner's progress becomes the rest buffer. The page treats 3 a.m. usability as a design constraint, using colour for urgency, keeping every readout on one scrolling screen, and offering a GPX import, live tracking, and a one-off £4.99 ad-removal option.
