Why it surfaced

Cairn OBS has unusually concrete product thinking: agents send records through Redpanda before independent ClickHouse and Tantivy consumers, while one query language spans both search engines. Its AGPLv3 promise—“the whole thing, no exceptions”—and self-hosted Ollama support give the project a clear point of view beyond simply being another logging dashboard.
