Jewmos, Where Melbourne’s Jewish Queer Community Meets

Why it surfaced

The site gives this local community a clear shape: 160+ members, seven community groups, and events ranging from a Jewish queer mental health workshop to a Rainbow Seder and a Sukkot gathering. Its invitation—“You don’t have to choose”—is unusually direct, warm and specific about the belonging it wants to create.

Jewmos brings Melbourne’s LGBTQIA+ Jewish community, friends, allies, partners and family together for Shabbat dinners, film nights, workshops, conversations and other gatherings.
