Why it surfaced

neumascan preserves more than pitches: slurs, dynamics, articulation, and measure-level error checks travel into the exported score. Its most appealing promise is also its most disciplined one: below 10 pixels between staff lines, it rejects the image instead of inventing a confident-looking result.
