openOM Gives Commercial Real-Estate PDFs a Verifiable Data Layer
openOM is an open standard for embedding broker-asserted, hash-verified machine-readable data inside commercial real-estate offering memoranda.
Why it surfaced
The same PDF is designed to serve both people and machines: a 40-page sample OM becomes roughly 3,000 tokens of structured data, including price, cap rate, NOI, lease terms, and rent schedules. Its validator checks the document's math, while an MCP server lets AI assistants read the asserted payload without repeatedly parsing the PDF.
