Tracing Absence: Soundscapes of Ashura

Why it surfaced

The project combines field sites in Hazara Town, Central Zones, and Mariabad with thematic sections on imambargahs, the Alam, Ashura, security, and layered vulnerability. Its account of preparation, procession, restricted movement, and public visibility gives a specific community texture that ordinary destination sites rarely capture.
