Why it surfaced

Xrank turns social status into an explicit auction: no votes, no algorithm, just payments, bumps, and beats. Its live board currently shows three ranked accounts, complete with contribution totals, activity history, and rules explaining that anyone can pay to move an eligible account—including someone else’s—up the list.
