Field notes

The app parses a standard plain-text .ledger journal and recomputes its views from postings rather than maintaining a second database. Adjacent budgets.json and recurring.json files hold app-specific targets and templates while leaving the journal readable by other ledger tools. The page describes validation that disables Add when postings differ, reconciliation that marks cleared transactions in one undoable step, and exports to PDF and CSV.
