The exhibit follows the episode from Ṣadr al-Dīn Zanjānī’s proposal in spring 1294 to the August proclamation in Tabriz, which threatened death for refusing the paper currency or retaining unstamped silver. Its unusually dense citation layer includes translations, encyclopedic references, and multiple readings where the record conflicts. The $CHAO and Mint sections are presented as a modern extension, but the page labels that part “Not live yet” and calls the historical note a reconstruction rather than a surviving specimen.
