Cockpit uses a local project folder as its organizing unit rather than a separate project file or setup wizard. Its terminal service preserves shells, screen state, and scrollback across app restarts, while the Git view includes worktrees for parallel branches. The page also describes optional Compose tabs, Markdown notes, due-date tasks, machine monitoring, and meeting recordings transcribed into notes. Account syncing is presented as optional; local paths remain on each computer and offline use is supported.
