Field notes

The project uses a Google Sites archive to organize excavation history alongside specialist evidence, including animal bones, ceramics, glass, and geophysical work. Its scope extends beyond digging: the page lists education programmes, exhibitions, surveys, public information boards, talks, videos, and photographs. The project reports direct participation from 11.02% of Great Torrington's population during the 2023 Big Dig, and identifies Archaeologists Engage and University of Bristol staff among its collaborators.
