The site records an obsession in the language its owner used, then asks the assistant to turn that thread into a bounded investigation rather than another summary. Its example concerns a disagreement between an official closure record and a rider account about a decommissioned MTA station. Topic rooms are deliberately narrow—examples include transit archaeology and vanishing dialects—and submissions can be kept private or shared with others working on the same assignment.
