The project organizes historical change around a year-controlled world map: users can move through the timeline or let it play while borders and territories redraw. Pins are described as covering battles, rulers, and people, with contextual answers about who ruled, who won, or who lived in a place. Its present-day reference layer includes flags, capitals, population, area, and currency, and the site also lists quizzes on silhouettes, country size, and capitals.
