InstructionLint: When Agent Docs Disagree With the Repository
A browser-based checker that compares agent-facing Markdown instructions with scripts, paths, versions, lockfiles, and other repository evidence.
Field notes
The checker accepts a repository archive up to 10 MB and compares supported instruction files with concrete repository evidence rather than inferring undocumented intent. Its sample report distinguishes a documented npm command from the absence of a matching package.json script, a stale AGENTS.md path, and a Node-version mismatch. The page says files remain in the browser and that the tool treats them as bytes and supported text evidence without executing repository code.
