Prodrooms, Pass-and-Play for Your DAW

prodrooms.com Observed source
Editorial interest 78/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

A Windows app that lets up to four friends take turns producing inside the same DAW session from their browsers.

Landing page captured for the 2026-08-24 issue.

Field notes

Prodrooms uses a host-side Windows app alongside the DAW, then lets browser participants enter through a room code. Its central constraint is one driver at a time: guests can watch and listen, while the host decides when control changes hands and can reclaim it with their own mouse. The page says sessions remain on the host’s computer and that friends use the host’s plugins, samples, and processing chain rather than matching local setups.
