RiffAmp Puts a Guitar Rig in the Browser
A browser-controlled guitar amp that uses a small native helper to keep audio latency below 10 milliseconds.
Field notes
The architecture assigns browser controls to a locally served page while a small tray application handles the interface connection and real-time audio path. The documented practice rig includes NAM amp captures, cabinet impulse responses, reorderable effects, a step-sequenced drum machine, and onset analysis for distinguishing sixteenth notes from triplets. Windows ASIO and macOS CoreAudio builds are listed, but both download links are currently marked as coming soon.
