GameScan: a browser diagnosis for gaming lag
A free browser test that examines ping, jitter, local-channel behavior, and routes to GameScan nodes.
Field notes
GameScan applies load to the connection before examining a series of browser-based measurements, then reports latency, jitter, confidence, and a plain-language diagnosis. The page estimates a 40-second test using several megabytes of traffic and currently lists Kyiv as online, while Warsaw, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam are marked planned. Its methodology also draws a firm boundary around browser testing: UDP packet loss and direct ping to an official game server are not measured.
