Jiyu reduces a day’s photographs to color rather than preserving the images as a conventional album. Its calendar is tied to the 24 solar terms: the page says it calculates the astronomical transition using a solar-position formula, then checks it against an ephemeris. A daily record occupies four squares, while the project says images stay in the browser and only a rough neighborhood-level location may be retained. The first TestFlight cohort is limited to 30 people.
