TrustScan QR Reads the Link Before You Open It
A browser-based QR generator and scanner that checks decoded links for scam patterns before sending you onward.
Field notes
The scanner is presented as a pre-navigation inspection layer: it decodes the QR payload, examines the resulting address, and flags patterns including punycode, ASCII lookalikes, redirects, executable downloads, and credential requests. The generator supports 32 named formats, from Wi-Fi and vCards to restaurant menus, UPI, Bitcoin, social profiles, and bulk generation, with PNG and SVG output. The page says codes are static and hold their destinations directly rather than relying on a tracking redirect.
