A Mac meeting notepad that listens locally, connects a few typed fragments to relevant conversation, and produces searchable notes with decisions and next steps.

The workflow is built around short typed cues rather than continuous transcript review: an example “pricing?” marker retrieves a nearby conversation segment and turns it into a decision note. KeptNote says the resulting history is kept in local SQLite and can be exported as Markdown, while cloud storage is off by default. The free tier includes unlimited local recording but limits enhanced notes to five per month; paid options are $9 monthly, $79 yearly, or $199 lifetime.
