Retiarium maps the network onto the building
A self-hosted network-documentation tool that places devices, racks, ports, VLANs, and cable paths on a building’s floor plans.
Field notes
Retiarium combines a floor-plan editor with an inventory of network hardware and a port-level connection model. Plans can be uploaded in five named image or document formats, or drawn directly, while cabinets keep equipment off the floor plan and display their contents separately. The site describes validation for duplicate IP addresses and invalid gateways, plus automatic backups and a trash area. It states that the main data remains in a SQLite file on the customer’s server, with only limited licensing data sent externally.
