Each creature begins with a creature number that determines its assembled traits and rarity before purchase. The homepage shows a distribution from Common at 70% to Legendary at 0.2%, while insisting rarity is descriptive rather than a prize. Visitors can name the result, receive a public page and phone-sized sharing card, and return through a private emailed link. At the observed count, 767 of the planned 1,000,000 creatures had been discovered.
