Hunt VPN evaluates endpoints through OpenVPN control-channel handshakes on a five-minute cycle, then publishes latency, seven-day uptime, protocol, port and a composite score for each server. The homepage reports 3,286 servers tracked, with 743 answering across 34 countries at the time of capture. Its scoring formula assigns 50% to reliability, 35% to median latency and 15% to current status, while server pages retain the underlying probe history.
