Prosody places a small gateway beside the machine running a coding session and lets a paired phone receive condensed spoken turns instead of raw markdown, paths, and tool chatter. The page says Apple Speech handles voice on-device, while TLS and trusted-first-pairing protect the connection. Approval remains explicit: consequential calls wait for a voice or tap response rather than timing out into automatic permission. A private tailnet is listed as a future reachability option.
