PitchDuo, a Shared Pitch Line for Singing Practice
A browser-based singing tool that displays pitch, note names, and cents of deviation in real time.
Field notes
PitchDuo uses microphone input to plot vocal pitch against note names, a cents-deviation scale, and optional target lines. Its teacher mode synchronizes pitch range and reference-line changes to a student through a room code, while the page states that only pitch values cross the network. The interface includes sensitivity settings, automatic following, and a C3–C5 range control. Headphones are required because speaker playback can cause the microphone to measure the other participant’s voice.
