Deck Pointer Turns an Android Phone into a Steam Deck Mouse
A closed-test Android app that sends mouse, keyboard, and gamepad-style controls from a phone over Bluetooth HID.
Field notes
The app uses Bluetooth HID directly, letting a Steam Deck receive pointer movement, clicks, scrolling, and phone-entered text without a desktop server or companion installation. Its preset editor supports draggable keys, resizable trackpads, saved layouts, and switching presets mid-game. The published test material names Steam Deck as working, while Windows, Linux, Google TV, and Quest remain partly under test; one documented limitation is a reconnect loop with an 8BitDo Ultimate 2C.
