Pinecrumbs Maps the Food Along the World’s Long Walks
An independent guide to the meals, snacks, resupply points, and regional food encountered on long-distance routes.
Field notes
Pinecrumbs arranges food information around the practical stages of long-distance travel: what can be carried, where supplies can be renewed, and which local meals appear near towns, inns, and trail stops. Its route index spans pilgrimage, wilderness, and pub-linked journeys, from the 73-kilometre Kumano Kodo to the 2,650-mile Pacific Crest Trail. The homepage also exposes food maps and downloadable waypoints for selected routes, making the project more than a collection of travel essays.
