The calculator separates facility inputs into energy, cooling, computing, storage, grid-service, and investment sections, then applies shared constraints across the scenarios rather than simply adding independent savings. Its duration view treats each event as separate: the example falls from 2.84MW at 15 minutes and one hour to 1.16MW at four hours, while also calculating the energy and time needed to restore deferred workloads and battery charge.
