braids digs through your Claude Code archaeology
An open-source local tool that searches Claude Code transcripts, maps their relationships, and reconnects files with the conversations around them.
Field notes
The tool indexes locally stored Claude Code transcripts and makes messages, tool calls, memories, and related file names searchable. Its explain workflow joins git timestamps to conversations active in the same repository, while explicitly declining to claim that a conversation caused a commit. The example shows two commits compared with six conversations, and the branch workflow can hand a selected turn to Claude through a resumed session and an optional separate git worktree.
