The simulation separates several behaviors into distinct trained policies: walking, strafing, turning, rolling, sitting, kicking, and getting back up. Camera mode adds 3D hand skeletons and face reactions, while the page says the roughly 25 MB engine, nine policies, and gesture model run on the device after download. Controls also include keyboard and joystick input, so the robot can be tested without the camera.
